Special Education Parent Resources

If you are a parent or guardina and are concerned about your child's development, you can request a special education evaluation by writing a letter to your child's teacher, principal, or the special education coordinator (Mrs. Beth Arnold-beth.arnold@phwolves.com). The letter should inform us about concerns related to your child's educational process.
The world of special education can be confusing and the law and procedures can be difficult to understand. The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) has published a guide to clarify some of the procedures of special education.

The ISBE Special Education resource page contains a great deal of information on special education including many resources for parents.
